Artist Of The Week- Anthony Valadez

anthony
Anthony Valadez grew up in the San Fransisco Valley right outside of L.A. He started out his love for music by just hosting a few different radio stations when he was young. This made him even more curious about music which led him to him buying his first pair of turn tables and to make some of his own music. He has now been dj-ing for 15 years, he has a very diverse style which is truly highlighted in this jazzy single called "Under Water".

Song of the Week: "Swell"- Common Market

This Seattle duo deserves all of your respect. If you've never heard of them before, please heed our warning and get at least one of their albums and listen to the whole thing. If you already know, well then you already know. The MC RA-Scion linked up with Sabzi, who you might know from Blue Scholars or Gabriel Theodros, and the duo has been producing masterpiece after masterpiece. This track is a really nice relaxed song focused on remaining humble in hip-hop and it really captures the image well. Enjoy

Artist of the Week: M.C.T.

This Boulder MC is originally from St. Louis but got into hip hop in the Boulder scene. We we're able to snap this picture of M.C.T. chilling with Curren$y after his show at the Fox, which is one of the last shows at the Fox for the 2012 summer as they are closing for repairs. He's been on his mixtape grind for a short while now, but it isn't hard to tell that he absolutely kills it on the mic. Make sure you check out his other stuff at . This track is called Celebrate, make sure you check it out, download it, and spread the love.

Input + Broken - 'Oh My God!' New Music Video

After years of working on separate projects and extensively touring the country together, Input & Broken came together to create ‘Left For Dead’. LFD symbolized a maturation in creativity and experimentation on both artists’ parts. Broken’s trademark drum work blended with synths, & guitar work from Byron Joseph, has elevated his production to a whole new level. Input has crafted his unique and iconic lyrics which are fueled by his own personal growth, the ever-so-typical hangover and tragedy. Input & Broken are currently working on their follow-up to 2011′s “Left For Dead” which is slated for release later in 2012. “Never Heard Of Ya” promises to encapsulate the chemistry that these two have created, while face-melting the threshold of Hip Hop’s traditionally overplayed story lines and theme songs.
